NPSA seeking seniors for Class of 2020 Spotlight Series: Nominations needed!

NPSA seeking seniors for Class of 2020 Spotlight Series: Nominations needed!

We tell your stories.

Inside these stories lives the transformational power of public education. Every page of this journey nearly four years in the making comes alive with each moment of student success we’re lucky enough to witness. This story’s heart beats with each obstacle hurdled and with each barrier barreled over.

For you, the teacher or the principal or the child, such moments are commonplace. It’s what you do. Every student. Every day. For us, the storytellers, these moments are spectacular, an absolute blast to capture.

But this is a complicated chapter, riddled with uncertainty and no template to follow for guidance. And still, with the way you’ve maneuvered these unclear waters flowing in unknown directions, this chapter is proving to be the most inspiring.

We don’t know what the near future will bring, what the rest of the 2019-20 school year will exactly look like, but we do know that, much like time, you won’t be standing still. Not when there’s kids involved. We don’t want to stand still either. There’s still stories to be told, student successes out there deserving of some shine in the spotlight.

Starting the first week of April, NPSA will profile a high school senior each week. Students who, throughout their academic careers, have meant a whole lot to their schools and their communities. Students who might miss out on a few milestone moments as the 2019-2020 school calendar comes to a close. Seniors, deserving of recognition, with a story of their own to tell.

We need your help finding these five spectacular seniors from the Class of 2020. To nominate, drop us a message! Or send an email to news@ncsa.org.
